Susanna Julio is a fused glass artist and wreath maker whose lifelong devotion to creativity has shaped both her career and her artistic voice. After beginning her journey in education in 1984, Susanna spent decades inspiring and guiding students as an art teacher before recently retiring. While her experience reflects a seasoned career, it is her enduring passion for art that keeps her perspective fresh and spirited.

Susanna has always been drawn to the quiet beauty of seashells. Growing up along the Chesapeake Bay—where oyster shells are plentiful but more exotic varieties are rare—she treasured every opportunity to collect distinctive specimens. Carefully selecting the loveliest shells, she began crafting them into wreaths that reflected her appreciation for natural form and texture.

Now living in Navarre, Florida, Susanna finds endless inspiration just beyond her doorstep, where many of the Gulf’s finest shells wash ashore. A passionate beachcomber and longtime collector, she transforms her treasured finds into beautifully handcrafted seashell flower wreaths. Using natural and polished shells, each piece celebrates the organic colors, textures, and timeless elegance of the ocean.

Through her work, Susanna brings a touch of coastal charm and artistry to every creation—offering pieces that reflect both her love of the sea and a lifetime dedicated to the arts.
